Sonora Point Resort is located in Okanogan County in the State of Washington on an exceptional eight acre site on beautiful Spectacle Lake, known for its excellent trout fishing and summertime water sports. It's nestled in a beautiful orchard filled valley approximately 25 kilometers south of Osoyoos and only a 4 ½ hour drive from Vancouver, British Columbia. When completed, the resort will be a first class, gated, private, full ownership RV destination. After completion, it will be one of the top RV Resorts in Washington State, offering owners and their guests the finest of on-site amenities. It will be designed in a Southwest Desert Architecture Style to reflect the essence of the desert climate.
When completed, Sonora Point Resort will have approximately 40 - 50 sites of which 10 - 12 of those sites will be located within 25 to 50 feet of the lake front; they will be true water front properties. This type of site is very rare and sought after. Approximately 10 more sites will be semi-water front lots with unrestricted water views. The remaining lots will have lake access and an equal share of all of the Resorts amenities. All sites will be located no more than 300 feet from the lake and no more than 250 feet from the clubhouse and primary amenities.
There will be an on-site concrete boat launch and docks to accommodate ski and fishing boats with another several buoys located on the water front for those who prefer this type of moorage. In conjunction to this, we plan to incorporate a secure boat trailer storage compound across the street from the Resort, which will include several RV storage units of various sizes. These units will be sold exclusively to Sonora Point Resort owners, will be accessible year round and can be used to store a variety of recreational equipment .
All of the RV sites will include large pads and be big enough to comfortably house the largest, most modern recreational vehicles. All sites will have full RV hook-ups, optional satellite, telephone, internet hook-up and be tastefully landscaped to enhance site privacy. The use of appropriate landscaping techniques using indigenous vegetation that create buffers between sites, while still maintaining lake views will be included.
All owners and their guests will enjoy the secure feeling of living in a fully gated and secured resort community that uses modern FOB key technology. Access to the Resort, the clubhouse, pool, hot tub, storage compound and laundry will ensure that only the owners and their guests have access to the facilities.
The Resort will have a sandy beach area with a cordoned off swimming area and platform. In addition, we envision a large green space that will accommodate a kid's playground, multi use lawn area and horseshoe pits. Due to the many hot sunny days that the area experiences, the green space will be located under the shade of the many large beautiful trees currently located on the property.
The clubhouse will be the central feature of the Resort and it will act as the social center, setting the standard for the entire complex. The clubhouse will be appropriately sized and built to the highest of standards. It will have a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, water feature, large pool deck area, family change rooms, laundry, wet bar/kitchen, big screen TV, fire place, fitness room and more. The building will have a large covered patio deck area with a view of the pool and resort beach that will be suitable for any type of social gathering.
The Resort will incorporate several green initiatives into the project that will help to minimize the impact on the environment and enhance the overall sustainability of the complex. Wherever possible, the use of environmentally friendly materials and systems will be chosen over conventional, less efficient, more harmful alternatives. When completed, the Resort will be a highly desirable, environmentally friendly, state of the art, RV Resort where families can come and enjoy quality time together in a safe and secure environment.
